About me

Hi there!

I'm Ronja, a 29-year-old Dutch creative with a passion for storytelling — through word, photography, and film — currently based in Berlin. Over the past four years, I’ve worked as a freelancer across a wide range of projects, from commercial shoots to wedding photography, and from event aftermovies to animated book trailers — all showcased in my portfolio.

Alongside this, I’ve contributed to several editorial teams, completed a videography internship, worked as a Junior Filmmaker at a documentary company, and created written content for a variety of digital platforms. These experiences have taken me across Europe and beyond, connecting me with inspiring people, stories, and ideas.

My love of people, cultures, and history — combined with a strong interest in societal issues and international politics — has shaped both my creative and academic paths. I hold two master’s degrees, in 'Journalism and Media in Europe' and 'Conflict Studies and Human Rights', which have deepened my interest in socially grounded storytelling. Whether working with the written word or the visual image, I’m particularly drawn to projects that explore political, cultural, or human rights-related themes.

I still shoot and write regularly and am always eager to take on new creative projects. But increasingly, I’m looking to bring my writing and editorial skills to the forefront. I hope to contribute to platforms that tell meaningful, well-researched stories and help shape the conversations that matter.
